Bay Harbor Islands
Bay Harbor Islands is synonymous with luxury high-rises and waterfront mansions in the north end of Miami Beach. With sweeping views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline, this town is one of the most desirable places to live in Miami-Dade County. Known as “The Best-Kept Secret on the Water”, it offers the ultimate vacation lifestyle in a private community setting.
The town is made up of two islands – East Island spans 105 acres with modern condo towers and a vibrant commercial area while West Island occupies 103 acres and offers an exclusive selection of single-family homes. Its amenities include the Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K-8 Center, two parks, tennis courts, and a children’s playground.
Despite its proximity to cities like Aventura and Miami Beach, Bay Harbour Islands offers a relaxed and slower pace of living amidst gorgeous scenery. Incorporated in 1947, the town encompasses less than half a square mile and is home to 5,761 residents as of 2021. It is bordered by North Miami to the north, the affluent communities of Bal Harbour and Surfside to the east, and Indian Creek Island to the south. The Broad Causeway connects its islands to the mainland at NE 123rd Street. The community offers shopping and dining close to home. Kane Concourse offers 17,472 square feet of commercial space with highly curated retail, food, fitness, and lifestyle offerings. The mixed-use development also offers residential units, offices, and rooftop amenities. There are also several luxury resorts in Bay Harbor Islands offering elegantly-appointed suites, first-rate amenities, tours, and cruises, including The Altair Hotel, The Landon Hotel, and Grand Beach Hotel Bay Harbor.
